Make the Most of this Time!

Image
Let us make the most of this time we have! As I reflect on the state, the condition of the world...as I look out the window and see the families and their children outside laughing and playing, despite the circumstance at hand, I'm reminded that we  should   make the most of this time! Many are home, due to the home quarantines across the country, we have time to spend with our families, we have time to pray and spend time with God, we have time to read that book, we have time to dream again and focus on our vision, our goals that we've set for 2020! We should   seize  the opportunity at hand, use this time to do the things we normally wouldn't have time to do! Time is precious, it's most valuable, let us maximize this time we have... Ephesians 5:16 [Amp] says: "...Making the very most of the time [buying up each opportunity]..." that we have... Just want to encourage you today! Make the most of this time , we can come out even better...

What is Faith?

Image
What is Faith? The definition of faith (or faith defined) is often referred to in Hebrews, Chapter 11, verse 1 as this... "Now FAITH is the substance of things hoped for the evidence of things not seen." The Amplified version, states that, "FAITH is the assurance, the confirmation, the title deed of the things we hope for, being the proof of things (we) do not see..." So in other words, FAITH brings to substance the things we are hoping for, making that thing we're hoping for (and can't see) evident ...so that we can see it. (I hope I didn't lose you there...) FAITH brings what we're hoping for into manifestation, so that the thing we can't see, becomes seen. In order to see the promises of God made manifested in our lives, it's going to require FAITH. FAITH is like a vehicle, we extend our FAITH, apply our FAITH to what we can't see, but believe in our heart, according to the Word of God that it shall come to pass, a...

FAITH without Works!

Image
The Bible tells us that true faith is evidenced by works. (James 2:20) What are works? "Works" when you study it out, translates to the "deed" or "act" of doing, in other words, it's actually doing something or taking action! True faith is ACTIVE! It's taking God's Word and acting on it. Faith that is active , is faith that goes beyond just the "mental assent" of saying I believe and have faith. True faith is a "heart felt" belief that propels you, thrusts you...forward into action. Think about it, when you really believe in your heart, you act on what you believe. You do something with what you say you believe. The Bible says, "faith without works is dead"... meaning faith apart from works (action) is inactive and ineffective. The Word says, it's actually "worthless".  (James 2:20 amp) James goes on to say, that a man says they have faith but have no works, He says..."I' w...

God said it, That Settles it!

Image
I am convinced that if  God said it, then that settles it! As we grow in our relationship with God, coming into the knowledge and understanding of His Word , we come to better understand God's will for our lives, as He states in  His Word. The Bible tells us that God "watches over His Word to perform it" (Jeremiah 1:12) His Word does not return unto Him void, but His Word does what He said it will do!   (Isaiah 55:11)   What God has spoken, it will be fulfilled. So what is God's will for us, according to His Word...He said that Jesus has come so that you have life (John 10:10) , not just barely live day-to-day or just barely get by in life, but to live life  to the full, to the overflow.  In 3 John 2, God's Word says, "Beloved I wish above ALL things that you prosper and be in health, even as your soul prospers."  God's will according to His Word, is that we rule and reign in life through Jesus Christ. That we prosper and flourish...

Where is Your Vision?

Image
From the very beginning, we see where God would lead and guide Biblical leaders by VISION. We see where God would reveal purpose, destiny, His plan by giving them the ability to  SEE beyond, what they could SEE in the natural, at that very moment. In Genesis Chapter 15, verse 5, God took Abram outside and said to him, "Look up at the sky and count the stars...if you are able to count them."   God said to him, that's how many descendants you will have! In other words, so many Abram that you can not even count them... Abram do you see it? The Bible says in verse 6, "Abram believed the Lord".  Abram believed God, to where although in his current situation, he did not have one seed , one child of his own [yet], and God told him he would be a father of many nations...and so many descendants, he would not be able to even count them -- Abram STILL BELIEVED GOD! Why? Because Abram could SEE, He had VISION beyond HIS CURRENT circumstance and situation, en...

New Day, New Mercies!

Image
NEW month, NEW day, NEW beginning! God is the MASTER at making things NEW! He created every -thing, from no -thing! (Gen. 1:1-2) Through Christ we have a new beginning in HIM! When we accept Jesus into our heart, the Bible tells us that we become NEW creatures in Christ the, "old things have passed away -- behold ALL things are made new". (2 Cor.5:17) The old is gone...the NEW is HERE! You can begin again in HIM! Shake off the things of yesterday, embrace the newness of TODAY! Because His mercies are made new every day! (Lam 3:22-23) Reset those goals! Write or Re-write the Vision! Re-IGNITE  Your FAITH ! And press FORWARD in HIM!
